The Problems In Your Business Can Be Solved With Website Design

When I get on a sales call with someone, one of the first questions I ask is about problems. I say, “What problems are you facing? In your business, with technology, or with your website because they are all related.”

And this is the truth.

One of the things that so many people don’t realize is how much potential a website has. When you lean into technology, you discover how much more there is.

So let’s talk about some common problems that people face in business and I’ll explain how they all relate to and can be solved by website design.

Problem 1: “I’m not getting very much interest in my business”

That’s the power of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is all about optimizing your website so that it can communicate with the robots over at Google (and other search engines). The truth is, a website designed with SEO in mind, ranks better.

Problem 2: “I’m not making any sales”

When it comes to website design, a well-designed website makes more sales. That’s really all there is to it. Website design influences perceived value (aka how much people think your offers are worth). A well-designed website also establishes credibility, addresses objections, and nurtures people without any work. If your website is getting traffic but it’s not making sales/inquiries, it’s time to invest in design.

Problem 3: “I’m spending hours in the DM’s on Instagram answering people’s questions”

When you are spending time answering questions, addressing objections, and helping people to buy, it’s time for a website. Instead of reaching out to you, people will go to your link-in-bio to learn about you. And if your website actually answers questions, then they will move through your funnel without ever having to talk to you. For example, I VERY rarely communicate with someone prior to our sales call. They get nurtured through my blogs, emails, and social media. Then they fill out an application and get invited to book a sales call. This is all automated through my website so I don’t have to spend any time nurturing people. Work smarter, not harder.

Problem 4: “My business doesn’t have enough authority”

If you’re just getting started, expanding markets, or just growing, this problem might speak to you. And a website is an excellent way to establish authority.
When it comes to websites, there’s two ways that authority works. The first is the authority among people. Consider whether or not a business seems legitimate if it has a website. These days, websites are so common-place that a business without one is an immediate red flag. The second authority has to do with search engines, like Google. When your website is legit, factual, not scammy, unique, original, etc… then it has more authority. That website authority helps you improve your SEO.

Problem 5: “People don’t understand what I offer”

This problem is especially important if the products/services that you offer are a bit complex or difficult to understand. Sometimes my offers are like this because they are tech related so people need to take the time to go through them. The nice thing about a website is that you can provide TONS of information in an organized way. I like to organize the most important text and features first so that if someone is just skimming the page they can get that info. Then, if someone is interested in continuing to learn more about my offer they can continue reading the content. I love it when a website has MORE info than I would want because that’s ALWAYS better than the opposite.

Problem 6: “People don’t know my full service suite”

When people don’t know about all the products or services that you offer, it’s because they’re not accessible enough. This is super easy to fix with a website that outlines services/products very clearly. In addition, it gives people time to browse without any pressure. Oftentimes, websites nurture people without them even realizing it.

Ready to drive traffic, make sales, save time, establish authority, inform your prospects, and promote your full-service suite?
