I’ve had the honor of connecting with Fran and becoming friends online awhile ago. Fran is incredibly knowledgable and authentic, two qualities I look for in my entrepreneur friends. She’s encouraged me to up-level my own client system and experience and taught me so much along the way. I’m thrilled to get to share her with you!

Meet Fran Rescigno.

Fran is the founder of The Passions Collective and helps other service-based entrepreneurs prioritize their client experience and spend time ON their business rather than IN it through strategic systems & automations.

Tell me a bit about how you got to where you are.

“I’m as multi-passionate as they come”

Entrepreneurship was always something that I had admired from a young age and dreamed about starting a variety of businesses. After spending a few years in the working world throughout high school & college, I was quite certain I did not want to spend the rest of my life working 9-5. What I didn't know was how quickly the opportunity to start my own business would fall into my lap! I discovered the world of Virtual Assistance in the summer of 2020 and jumped in to start my business just a few months later. I'm as multi-passionate as they come, so I've pivoted my business quite a few times since then from VA to Creative Assistant to Systems Expert to Dubsado Pro and I'm certain more are to come.

One thing that plagued most of my different titles was my experience with burnout. I definitely went all in when I started my business and started experiencing signs of burnout just under 3 months later. I didn't really know what burnout was at that point or how to fix it, so I thought taking a break was the answer. Soon after returning from my break, I discovered I was in fact incorrect and that I was going to have to make some tangible changes to my business structure in order to stop feeling burnt out. One of the biggest changes I made was setting up systems & automations in my business which has allowed me to not be tied to my laptop 24/7 in order for my business to run. The impact it had on my life and business is what lead me to pursue helping other entrepreneurs with their own systems & automations which brings me to where I am today!

What makes you stand out in your industry?

“I believe that no two businesses are the same”

I'm here to create an impact on my clients lives and making money is a byproduct of that.

I believe that no two businesses are the same and therefore every business requires systems & automations that are customized and unique to them.

I understand the value and strategy behind creating a great client experience and bring that knowledge to all of my projects.

I care about what happens after I've set up the systems for my clients. I make sure they are confident using it and I'm there to answer their questions because there's no point in having a system you don't know how to use.

I don't think there is one solution for all businesses when it comes to systems & automations and I'll let you know if the platforms I work in aren't the best fit for your business.

What would you like fellow entrepreneurs to know about you?

Contrary to what many people in the online space preach, I believe that the experience you provide is vastly more important than how your brand looks. Plus there's data to back that up. Invest in your systems & client experience before you invest in your branding — you can't create a smooth and efficient experience just through looks.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in business?

At the end of the day, if you don't like something about your business it's entirely up to you to take action and create a different outcome. There will never be a day where you magically wake up and have your dream business. You have to make decisions and investments to create the business that you want to have. And there's no right way to do business, so don't let people fool you into thinking there is!

What’s your biggest challenge in business right now?

Figuring out how to expand my business strategically! I always have so many ideas that it can be hard to sort through them and pick out the ones that are actually valuable to me and my audience.

Share a recent win!

I just recently booked my biggest project to date!
